Days 1–2 · Muskoka

Dockside cottage country

Head north after Toronto traffic eases, using Gravenhurst or Bracebridge for lake cruises, short walks and a slow first morning.

Days 3–4 · Huntsville

The western gateway

Follow the lakes through Port Carling and Lake of Bays, then settle in Huntsville before entering Algonquin.

Days 5–6 · Algonquin Park

Highway 60, paddles and pines

Give the park two days for a lookout trail, a half-day canoe and wildlife-aware dawn or dusk drives along the corridor.

Days 7–8 · Prince Edward County

A softer road home

Angle southeast for beaches, farm shops and a relaxed final stay before returning to Toronto.
