Share what is yours
Use your own words and photographs, or material you are clearly licensed to share. Credit is not a substitute for permission.
Keep people private
Do not publish contact details, number plates, booking references, home addresses or identifiable children. Get an adult’s agreement before showing them.
Do not turn risk into a dare
No encouragement to trespass, speed, drive impaired, ignore closures, approach wildlife, use unsafe pull-outs or bypass park and fire restrictions.
Describe the date and limits
Roads, ferries and seasons change. Say when you travelled, distinguish experience from current fact and avoid guarantees.
Leave wildlife room
Do not reveal sensitive den, nest or congregation locations. Never promote feeding, crowding or roadside stopping that puts animals or traffic at risk.
Be human
No harassment, hate, threats, sexual content, impersonation, spam, undisclosed advertising or manipulation of ratings and reports.
Be honest about images
Do not submit deceptive composites or AI-generated scenes as documentary travel photographs. Normal colour and crop edits are fine.
Moderation and reporting
We may decline, edit, label, hide or remove material. Serious or repeated breaches may prevent further submissions. Report a public item using the link in its map card, or use the private reporting form. Copyright and permission concerns have a dedicated takedown process.
